Filagra 100mg is a prescription-only, short-term treatment for erectile dysfunction or impotence in men that has sildenafil 100mg as its active ingredient. This increased blood flow fills the erectile tissues (corpus cavernosum) and blood vessels surrounding the male organ and the shaft. Increased blood flow in the penile region, male genital, and reproductive organs brings in the hardness and erection that is quick and long duration. A lack of blood flow is the primary reason for not getting an erection. PDE 5 degrades cGMP and hydrolyzes them. As a result, cGMP concentration cannot flourish in the penile area. Hypersensitive to ED medication ingredients
If you are allergic to sildenafil, vardenafil, avanafil, or tadalafil, avoid this medication, as it may cause severe allergic reactions.
Medicine Interactions
Avoid the medications when taking nitrates to treat angina (chest pain), hypertension, or heart disorders because combining it with Filagra 100mg will plummet the blood pressure to a dangerously low level. Avoid taking it with recreational drugs called “Poppers” because of the same reason.
Avoid taking alpha-blockers used for lowering blood pressure, protease inhibitors to treat HIV and AIDS, antifungals, antidepressants, certain antibiotics, and opioid painkillers, as they may increase the potential side effects.
If you take nitrates, such as isosorbide dinitrate or Nitroglycerin (Nitrostat), to treat heart problems, avoid Filagra 100mg. Combining the two medications can cause severe hypotension that can cause death.
Guanylate Cyclase stimulators such as riociguat (Adempas) can interact with this medication. This combination can cause your blood pressure to drop to a severely low level.
Alpha-blockers, such as Doxazosin, can cause hypotension. Avoid this medication or avoid Filagra 100mg.
Ritonavir, which blocks the breakdown of this medication and increases its concentration in the bloodstream, taking ritonavir may trigger severe side effects dangerous to the health. COVID-19 medications and specific Hepatitis C and HIV treatments have ritonavir used in them.
Heart problems and Hypotension/Hypertension
Patients with heart problems, irregular heartbeat, heart blockage, heart surgery, a stroke, heart attack, heart failure, or life-threatening arrhythmia (heart rhythmic disorder) in the past six months must avoid the ED medication. Avoid it if you have prolonged chest pain, a heart obstruction, an unregulated blood pressure level, or low blood pressure (hypotension).
If you have hypertension and are on blood pressure-lowering medications, then avoid taking them when taking Filagra 100mg. If you have hypotension, talk to your doctor before the ED treatment.
Degenerative, rare eye, retina conditions
Patients with eye disease, non-arteritic anterior ischemic optic neuropathy (NAION), retinitis pigmentosa, glaucoma, sudden blurriness or vision loss in one or both eyes or high pressure on eyeballs can avoid the medication.
Liver& kidney
Patients with liver or kidney problems can start with a lower Filagra dose after consulting a doctor. If you have a compromised liver and kidney, they cannot break the medication, and it stays in the body for a longer duration, causing side effects.
Bleeding problems
If you have bleeding disorders, hemophilia, sickle cell anemia, stomach ulcers, blood cancer, leukemia (blood cell cancer), or multiple myeloma (Bone marrow cancer), avoid Filagra 100mg.
Psychiatric illness
If you have chronic or acute anxiety, depression, or mental disorders, avoid the medication.
Penile deformity
If you have penile deformity, Peyronie’s disease (curved penis), avoid the medication.
Priapism
If you have experienced a painful and prolonged erection that does not go even after 4 hours after taking ED medications, avoid Filagra 100mg.
You can expect minimal side effects from Filagra similar to that of other ED medications. If you notice that the severity of side effects is growing or persisting, seek immediate medical help.

Children, adolescents under 18, and older adults above 64, women must consult a doctor before taking the medication for pulmonary arterial hypertension. Individuals allergic to sildenafil, vardenafil, tadalafil, or avanafil must avoid the medication.
Pregnant and breastfeeding women or those planning pregnancy must not take it.
Avoid the medication if you have low blood pressure, taking blood pressure lowering treatments, heart, liver, kidney, lungs, bleeding, psychiatric, vision, hearing problems, or penile deformity and priapism.
Avoid taking the medication with alcohol, grapefruit or juice, contraband drugs, and substances, recreational drugs, opioid painkillers, antidepressants, antifungals, antihypertensive, nitrates, alpha-blockers, riociguat, poppers, vitamin and herbal supplements.
Avoid driving, riding, handling heavy machines, or activities that require mental and physical alertness because the influence of the medication can make you feel dizzy, drowsy, and have blurry vision.
Store the medication in a cool, dry, and moisture-free area, within 20 to 25 degrees centigrade, away from direct heat, light, children, and pets.
I started with Filagra 25mg a few years back and now going strong with Filagra 200mg. I needed extra sildenafil power so opted for a higher dose. Filagra 100mg is the standard for the most. But you can get a longer and stronger erection with the 200mg.
Used the jelly Filagra because I have difficulty swallowing the tablet. I can take it discretely with no water. The taste and the flavor are nice. I feel sensuous and my partner, too, during the foreplay as the flavor fills the air.

It worked between meals. But other medicines made me feel like cotton heads and foggy brains. This one despite the high dose gave me a mild headache. It gives me a hardness and erection when I feel aroused. If anyone has any other experience, please share.
