ASTHALIN contains salbutamol which belongs to a group of medicines called fast-acting bronchodilators or relievers. It is used to treat the symptoms of asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) such as coughing, wheezing and breathlessness. Salbutamol is used to relieve symptoms of asthma and other asthma-like conditions such as chest tightness, wheezing and coughing in adults and children. It works quickly and the effects can last several hours.
