The average ejaculatory time in adult men is between 5 and 7 minutes. If the condition of IELT < 2
minutes continues for over three months, the man may have premature ejaculation symptoms.
Premature ejaculation is a common problem in men above 40 and increases between 40 and 70.
The causes of PE are both physical and psychological.
Stress and inhibitions are the prominent psychological causes of PE. PE can improve by
exercising, practicing control over the mind, and a healthy diet and lifestyle. The
potent Dapoxetine, an FDA-approved PE medication, can help in curbing early discharge,
but it comes with practice by training the mind and body to control ejaculatory urges.

Working of Apoxet:
Apoxet contains dapoxetine, an FDA-approved premature ejaculation-preventing active ingredient. It is a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor that works by altering the chemicals in the brain to delay ejaculatory urges and reflexes. Serotonin is a neurotransmitter that transmits signals between the central nervous system (CNS) and the brain to complete specific actions, including ejaculation. The body will not respond to ejaculation action if the brain does not receive or receive delayed instruction from the CNS to ejaculate. By delaying signals reaching the brain, the user of dapoxetine can increase the time to ejaculate.
The body uses serotonin in the brain to transmit signals between the CNS and the brain. The brain cells release serotonin to receive the signals from the CNS nerve cells and transmit them back to the brain. The brain receives the nerve messages by reabsorbing the serotonin into the brain cells. It is called the reuptake of serotonin.
Dapoxetin, working on the brain, increases the serotonin concentration by preventing the serotonin reuptake. As serotonin is not getting absorbed by the brain, the brain does not receive the signal to ejaculate, and the man can continue his sexual activity without ejaculating.
However, serotonin will eventually get absorbed by the brain cells, and the brain will receive the message and stimulate the ejaculatory reflex, causing the man to release semen, which can extend the time to ejaculate.
Dosage of Apoxet:
The correct dosage of Apoxet is a doctor’s prerogative. He does the examinations, checking your body weight, age, diet, lifestyle, pre-existing medications, medical history, and underlying health condition and causes before prescribing Apoxet 60mg. He may increase or decrease Apoxet doses based on the tolerance and response to the treatment.
Take Apoxet 60 1 to 3 hours before a planned sexual activity. Swallow the Apoxet 60mg whole tablet orally by mouth with ample water to absorb the ingredients and avoid dehydration. Do not crush, chew, break, split, cut, or dissolve the medication inside the mouth or outside. You can take it with or without meals. Avoid junk food and heavy, oily, fat-rich meals because they may delay the absorption of ingredients and the onset of the medication.
You can take it on an empty stomach to kick start the onset quickly. We suggest you take it with a light, healthy, and fat-free meal to stay energetic during the act.
Avoid alcohol, smoking, contraband drugs and substances, recreational drugs, opioids, painkillers, pre-existing and OTC medicines, other PE medicines, vitamins, and herbal supplements.
The half-life of Apoxet 60mg is 21.9 hours, and Apoxet 30mg is 18.7 hours. The body eliminates Apoxet rapidly in the urine. Hence, take one Apoxet 60mg pill in 24 hours to avoid overdose.
Precautions of Apoxet:
CYP3A4 inhibitor contraindication
Avoid CYP3A4 inhibitors because the liver uses CYP3A4 and CYP2D6 to metabolize dapoxetin and absorb the ingredients. CYP3A4 drugs include ketoconazole, ritonavir, and telithromycin.
Allergic to dapoxetine
Patients allergic to dapoxetine or any PE medication ingredients can avoid the medication and opt for replacement therapy to treat their PE.
SSRI Antidepressants contraindication
Patients using Apoxet 60 mg must avoid any SSRI, SSNI, or antidepressant use concomitantly. Patients administering SSRI or tricyclic antidepressants, monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs), serotonin-norepinephrine reuptake inhibitors (SNRIs), or thioridazine must avoid Apoxet 60mg. Those who are taking these must wait for 14 days before taking Apoxet 60mg or watch for seven days after discontinuing Apoxet 60 to resume taking these drugs.
Liver disorders
Patients with severe liver disease or hepatic impairment should not take the medication. Patients with mild to moderate hepatic impairment must consult a doctor for Apoxet dosage adjustments.
Heart disease
Patients with severe heart, cardiac, and cardiovascular ailments, heart blockage, heartbeat irregularities (arrhythmia), heart failure, stroke, heart attack, heart surgery in the past six months, permanent pacemaker, and ischemic heart disease must avoid medications. People with heart or blood pressure problems should avoid taking Apoxet 60mg. Patients with mild-to-moderate heart disorders may consult doctors for dosage adjustment.
Kidney disorders
Patients with severe kidney disease must avoid the medication. Patients with mild-to-moderate kidney disorders may consult doctors for dosage adjustments. The kidney metabolizes Apoxet 60mg extensively using multiple enzymes, such as CYP3A4 and CYP2D6. Avoid CYP3A4 and CYP2D6 inhibitors if you are taking Apoxet 60mg.
Psychiatric disorders
Patients with severe psychiatric disorders, mental illness, neurodegenerative diseases, taking medicines with serotonergic and neurocognitive adverse effects, such as anxiety, akathisia, hypomania, mood swings or changes, and suicidal thoughts must avoid Apoxet 60mg.

It helped me last much longer than usual. I tried Apoxet 30mg but Apoxet 60mg is great. Initially, I was not confident taking this. But my experience is good. It works well at 55, I feel I am back in control again. I felt a little spacey but that is my experience. Take and wait for 3 hours for maximum effect.
