Manforce Tablet 100mg helps men between 18 and 64 to treat erectile dysfunction or impotence and helps them attain and sustain an erection. The main composition of Manforce 100 mg is sildenafil, a phosphodiesterase type 5 inhibitor that improves the blood flow in the male organ and genital to get an erection. Nitrates, Alpha-blockers, Riociguat
Avoid the ED medication if you are on nitrate, alpha blocker, or riociguat (treat pulmonary hypertension).
Nitrates
If you are on nitrates, such as Nitroglycerin, isosorbide dinitrate or isosorbide mononitrate, skip Manforce Tablet 100mg. These medications drop blood pressure levels, and combined with Manforce, which also lowers blood pressure, can cause cardiovascular collapse because of a plummeting blood pressure level that can turn fatal and even cause death.
Riociguat
If you are on Riociguat, which treats pulmonary arterial hypertension (high blood pressure in the lungs), avoid Manforce Tablet 100mg. Combining both will plummet the blood pressure to a dangerously low level.
Heart disease
Patients with heart, cardiac, and cardiovascular complications must avoid the medication or consult a doctor if they have mild to moderate complications for altered Manforce doses. If the patients have a stroke, heart attack, heart failure, cardiac insufficiency, irregular heartbeat, heart blockage, heart surgery, angina (chest pain and discomfort), or taking medication or treatment for heart-related issues, they must avoid the medication.
Uncontrolled blood pressure, hypotension, hypertension
Manforce Tablet 100mg works by increasing the blood flow and causing hypotension, although mild and short-lasting, as it relaxes the blood vessels. If you already have hypotension, which is a low blood pressure level, or take medicines to reduce blood pressure because of uncontrolled high blood pressure (hypertension), avoid the ED medication.
Penile deformity, Priapism, Peyronie’s disease
If you have any penile deformity or Peyronie’s disease, avoid Manforce Tablet 100mg. If you have experienced priapism (painful and prolonged erection over 4 hours) after using ED medications, avoid the medication. Manforce Tablet 100mg can cause priapism in some patients. Priapism may harm the penile tissues, leading to impotence.
Hearing loss
The ED medication can cause a sudden decrease or loss of hearing. It may trigger tinnitus (ringing in the ear), or increased blood flow to the ears may lead to damage. Do not take it if you have hearing problems.
Surgery
If you have upcoming or planned surgery, avoid the ED medicine. Surgery will need anesthesia and other drugs. Combining with Manforce Tablet 100mg can cause a severe drop in blood pressure.
Degenerative eye or retina diseases
Avoid Manforce 100mg medication if you have vision loss in one or both eyes, glaucoma, retinitis pigmentosa, non-arteritic ischemic optic neuropathy (NAION), or high pressure on eyeballs. If you experience temporary sudden vision loss after taking the ED medication, stop further administration.
Blood-related or bleeding disorder
If you have bleeding issues, such as stomach ulcer, gastrointestinal bleeding, sickle cell anemia, multiple myeloma, leukemia, or blood cancer, avoid the medication.
